We are excited to announce that Remi Uzdras, our fantastic Djembe Drumming teacher, will be reviving African Drumming Club next term!
The club explores the rhythms of Western Africa encouraging understanding, respect and enjoyment of the rhythm and the culture.
Pupils will be taught an introduction to rhythm and rhythmic patterns, Djembe technique, accompaniments (playing two or more different rhythmic patterns), and bass drum patterns (dundumba, sangban & kenkeni).
The club will be open to Y5 pupils ONLY (maximum of 15 pupils) and will commence on Monday 19th April (3:15 pm to 4:00 pm) running for 10 weeks at a charge of ÂŁ45.
