RE: Amber Class – Parent Representative

We are delighted to introduce you to your Parent Representative: Eleanor Steele.

“I’m Ellie Steele, and my children are Ada (Amber class) and Miri (Cerise class). I run my own business, providing training and mentoring to medical writers, and when I’m not working or wrangling my kids I’ll probably be running, reading or knitting.”

The role of a Rep is to act as an extra channel of communication between school and home, as well as creating a sense of community and cohesiveness within the class. The groups are also an opportunity for parents to help each other, for example lending wellies for forest school or bringing in extra items for art projects.

You are not obliged to join the group. Obviously, we would like as many parents to join as possible as it’s a great way of keeping up with school life, but we appreciate that not everyone will want, or be able to.
