RE: Bronze Class – Parent Representative

We are delighted to introduce you to your Parent Representative: Simoné Daniels.

“My name is Simoné and I am a single mum of 3. My daughter is 10 years old and is in year 6 Bronze Class, my son is 4 years old and is in Cerise/Green Class and I also have a 1 year old son. I have been a class Rep from the start for my daughters class and been doing for years now as I enjoy doing it! Being a parent myself I understand how hard it is to gather information so I’m here to help you in any way I can. I looking forward to getting to know you all!”

The role of a Rep is to act as an extra channel of communication between school and home, as well as creating a sense of community and cohesiveness within the class. The groups are also an opportunity for parents to help each other, for example lending wellies for forest school or bringing in extra items for art projects.

You are not obliged to join the group. Obviously, we would like as many parents to join as possible as it’s a great way of keeping up with school life, but we appreciate that not everyone will want, or be able to.
