RE: Year 2 – Horniman Museum trip 2022
Dear Year 2 parents and carers,
As part of our topic called ‘Animals and Me’, we will be going to The Horniman Museum aquarium on a self-guided tour to see the different frogs and other marine life.
We will be leaving school in the morning at 9:45am and returning to school for 12.15pm in time for lunch. We will walk to and from the museum.
The children will need to wear full school uniform, with a waterproof coat and appropriate footwear.
The Year 2 classes will be going to the museum on the following dates:
Monday 28th February: Saffron class
Monday 7th March: Ochre class
Thursday 10th March: Cinnamon class
We will be going to the museum with school staff and volunteer TAs who work weekly in Year 2. We also require some support from parents, If you’re able to accompany us on your child’s trip please email year2@kelvingrove.lewisham.sch.uk or see your child’s class teacher.
The cost of this trip is £1.50 per child. Please can this be paid on PAY360 by Friday 11th March 2022 – Pay360 Education Payments – Secure Online Payments – Home.
