Dear Year 4 parent/carer,
Today, your child has been part of an assembly led by Donna Edmonds, CEO of the charity ‘Farms for City Children’ and our current Year 5 pupils, who spoke about their experiences this year at Wick Court and Nethercott Farm. This is a 5-day residential trip where the children spend time learning about what it is like to be a farmer, where our food comes from, how to cook home-grown meals and the importance of looking after animals, amongst other things.
For more information about the residential and the charity, please visit https://farmsforcitychildren.org/
The cost of the trip is approximately £300 (actual cost £600) with a reduced price of £150 for families eligible for Pupil Premium or currently not working. This can be paid in full or through a payment plan, which can be discussed with the office, once your child’s place has been confirmed.
If your child is interested in going to Nethercott Farm next academic year (2022-2023), please complete and submit the form below as soon as possible.
Thank you,
Mrs. Heron-Njie and Mrs. Campbell
