Dear Parents and Carers,

RE: School Council Visit to the Lewisham Schools Climate Change Network Meeting for Pupils at Edmund Waller Primary School on Wednesday 6th July 2022

Our School Council pupils have been invited to the Lewisham Schools Climate Change Network Meeting; this is so we can share the work that we have been doing with our School Council and also find out about what other schools have been doing to make their schools more sustainable, specifically around climate change. I am delighted to say that your child has been specially selected to attend.

We will be leaving school at 9:00am and travelling to Edmund Waller Primary School via public transport. We aim to return back at school for 1:00pm.

You will need to provide a healthy packed lunch for your child which should NOT contain fizzy drinks, sweets/chocolate, or any nuts (due to pupil allergies).

Please ensure your child has appropriate clothing for the weather. If it is sunny, please apply sunscreen on your child before they come to school and if it’s raining please make sure they bring a coat.

As always, your child will need a filled water bottle.
