Dear Parents and Carers,

RE: Sports Day

There is a heatwave predicted for the beginning of next week with temperatures likely to exceed 30 degrees. If this is the case, for safety reasons, unfortunately we will need to cancel our afternoon sports days in Wells Park.

The children will still do sports activities on the site at school but we will not be able to accommodate parents.

Sports day planned for the mornings may possibly still go ahead in the park and in any case please make sure children have sun block applied, wear some head coverings and bring a bottle of water. We will keep you informed as this is a typical British summer and weather predictions constantly change.
