Dear Parents and Carers,
It is with great sadness that we received the news yesterday evening of the death of Queen Elizabeth.
In school, we will of course talk to and reassure children about this in classes and in our assemblies.
The country will enter a period of mourning and there may be announcements that change planned events in the next few weeks, including the opening of schools.
At the moment no information has been given. We will of course keep you informed. In the meantime school attendance and school times remain the same.
The loss is felt by us all, as a community and as a nation. The unwavering commitment to duty shown by the Queen, over her lifetime, is an example to us all.
