Dear Parents and Carers,

RE: Phonics Meeting

In order to help you to support your child as they learn to read and write, we are holding a meeting for parents about phonics.

During the meeting we will explain how we teach phonics, how the children learn to apply their new knowledge in order to read and write and how we try to ensure that all children keep up with the pace of learning.

We will also explain what you can do at home to support your child.

We will be holding two identical meetings, so that as many parents as possible can attend. You will only need to attend one of them. The meetings will be on the following dates:

Tuesday 27^th September at 2:30pm

Monday 3^rd October at 5:00pm

Please try to attend one of the meetings, so that you are able to support your child with this crucial stage of their learning journey.

Please come to the main reception of the school when you arrive. We look forward to seeing you next week.
