Dear Year 6 Parents and Carers,

I am writing to inform you that Mrs. Lafinhan is expecting a baby and therefore will begin her maternity leave part way through the Spring term. The children are being told today. Arrangements to cover her are yet to be confirmed; the nature and timing of these arrangements will be communicated to you early next year once they are finalised.

Your children have made a good start to Year 6 and will continue to progress well with the support of the whole Year 6 team. I wish to reassure you that there will be a thorough handover to ensure as smooth a transition as possible.
