We are delighted to introduce you to your Parent Representative: Janine Green

“Hi, I’m Janine and I’m the Parent Rep for Jade class. I have 2 children at KG (Y3 & Y6) and have been a Governor here for the last 5 years. You can usually find me at pick-up / drop-off, or just generally hanging around. Failing that, I’ll be in the Journey Café pretending to do some work (come and chat, I like to be distracted).”

The role of a Rep is to act as an extra channel of communication between school and home, as well as creating a sense of community and cohesiveness within the class. The groups are also an opportunity for parents to help each other, for example lending wellies for forest school or bringing in extra items for art projects.

You are not obliged to join the group. Obviously, we would like as many parents to join as possible as it’s a great way of keeping up with school life, but we appreciate that not everyone will want, or be able to.
