Royal Academy of Arts Young Artists’ Summer Show 2023
Kelvin Grove will once again be taking part in the Royal Academy’s Young Artists’ Summer Show competition. The competition is inspired by the annual RA Summer Exhibition and the Young Artists’ Summer Show offers primary and secondary level students the exciting opportunity to exhibit their artwork at the RA on site and online.
The competition is open to all children aged 4-19 and pupils can enter up to 3 artworks each. There are no restrictions on what the children can make, 2D or 3D works will be accepted and any medium is welcome. Children can submit art they’ve done at home or works they’ve made in school. There is no theme this year. The Royal Academy only ask that works be original and do not infringe upon any copyrights. Take your time creating and have fun with it!
Prizes will be awarded for inspiring artworks from each Key Stage. There will also be a People’s Choice award, where members of the public can vote for their favourite artwork.
Submissions need to be handed in by Tuesday 29th March at the latest. All artworks should be delivered to Miss Gibbs or the school office as well as the below parental consent* form and a short description about the artwork.
