Dear Parents and Carers of Year 3 Pupils,

RE: Year 3 Trip to The Natural History Museum

As part of our creative curriculum, Year 3 will be going on a school trip to the Natural History Museum, London as a part of our topic ‘Quakes and Shakes’. The teacher-led tour will include the exploration of the Earth Gallery. Children will have an opportunity to make observations, answer questions and make sketches.

All classes will leave school at approximately at 9am on Wednesday 8th February 2023 and we aim to return by 3:15pm. We will be travelling via public transport to South Kensington Station.

Your child must have a suitable coat and appropriate shoes, as we shall be going whatever the weather! Your child may wear a hat, scarf and gloves if they choose to.

There is no cost to parents for this trip.

You will need to provide your child with a healthy packed lunch which should not contain fizzy drinks, sweets/chocolate or any nuts due to pupil allergies, the packed lunch will need to be fully disposable and in a named carrier bag.
For children in receipt of free school meals a school packed lunch may be provided upon request via the form below. Please pre-order your child’s meal choice via the form by Friday 27th January 2023.

Please complete the form below by Friday 27th January, any lunch orders placed after this date will not be accepted.

Please let your class teacher know if you’ll be available to support a group on this trip.
