Dear Parents and Carers,

Due to upcoming maternity leave and increasing budget pressures on the school we will have to make some mid year changes to teaching staff. The changes are kept to a minimum and ensure that all classes get a permanent Kelvin Grove teacher so that we do not reply on supply teachers to teach our children.

Mrs Daniel will move to Year 1 and teach Amber class; Mrs Legouix will move to Year 4 and teach Azure class and Miss Horgan will join the Year 6 team and teach Copper class. These changes will take place at half term and will be in place when the children return to school on Monday 20th February 2023.

I have tried to minimise the impact and ensure that children in all classes are taught by a teacher with experience of that year group.

I recognise that change mid year is not what we would choose if it could be avoided. However, we will work on smooth transitions over the next couple of weeks.

I will be available on both Parents’ Evenings to answer any questions you may have.
