Amber have come back enthusiastic and refreshed after the half term break.
The children were so excited to meet 3 cute bears sitting on Mrs Daniel’s chair in English! We read the traditional story ‘Goldilocks and the 3 bears ‘ and then compared this to ‘Goldilocks and the one bear’.
We talked about both stories and discussed what we liked and what we disliked. Lots of us liked the modern contemporary version which is set in’ The city’.
Our topic this term will be ‘From city to seaside’! We will be looking at different cities and seasides; making comparisons, studying differences and similarities, and also sharing our opinions on different places.
We will be getting ready for Year 2 this term so will be focusing on our independent learning skills as preparation.
