If you choose to take photos or a video of your learning, you can ask an adult at home to send these to your teacher via: year3@kelvingrove.lewisham.sch.uk. | 1. Can I interview a family member who has lived abroad? | Do you know someone in your family who was born or lived some time in another country? Design 5 interview questions you could ask them e.g., How was your life different in another country? What do you miss most about it? What was the best part of living there? Who did you share your home with? Record your answers on paper or record your interview as a video and share what you found out with your class. |
| 2. Design a carnival costume | Carnivals are colourful and vibrant. People wear impressive outfits and children take part too. Visit your local library to find out more about carnival costumes and design your own. Label it to show where you got your ideas from. |

Children were sent home with individual lists of words they need to learn before moving on to year 4. Please practise these words with them as they will be tested on them weekly.
