Dear Y1 Parents and carers,

RE: Y1 Trip to Horniman Triangle Park – 19^th July 2023

We would like to end the term with a trip to the Horniman Triangle Park. This is to celebrate the topic City to Seaside as well as end of a wonderful academic Year.

We would like to invite all parents to attend if they wish. We will be visiting the park on Wednesday 19^th July from 9:15am until 11:30am. We will supply some snacks such as fruit and a biscuit for each child.

Children will not require a packed lunch as we will be back in school by 12:00pm and can have school dinner / packed lunch as per usual.

While we would ideally like as many parents to attend as possible to celebrate the children’s journey with us please could parents meet us at the park for health and safety reasons as it will be too crowded for us all to walk together.

We do however, need five parents from each class to help walk with the children. If you are able to spare your time please speak to your child’s class teacher, as this would be much appreciated.

Children need to wear school uniform and have appropriate footwear and outer clothing to suit the weather on the day.

If you are bringing a snack for yourself please be mindful that these do not contain any NUTS, dairy or sesame as we have children with food allergies.
