Dear Y5 Parents and carers,

RE: Y5 Trip to Horniman Museum – 17^th April 2024

As part of our topic ‘Treasured Tombs and Fascinating Pharaohs’, Year 5 will be going on a trip to the Horniman Museum on Wednesday 17^th April 2024.  During the session, children will have the opportunity to handle and learn from artefacts from the Ancient Egyptian period.

The cost of the trip is £3.00 which should be paid via SCOPAY / TRIPS & EVENTS.

If you would like to pre-order a FREE school packed lunch for this trip, you must complete the online form below by Friday 15^th March 2024. This is to ensure that the kitchen staff have sufficient time to order in the correct food.

Alternatively, you can provide your child with a home-made healthy packed lunch which should NOT contain fizzy drinks, sweets, or NUTS (due to pupil allergies). Lunch needs to be fully disposable and in a named carrier bag.

The children will need to wear school uniform as normal. It is important you ensure your child’s medical records are up to date and we have the necessary medicines in school to take on the trip.

Lavender will be leaving at 11:00 am and Violet will be leaving at 11.30 am. Both classes will return to school before the end of the day.
