Violet class have had a wonderful term. We wrapped up our previous topic with an engaging and interesting workshop at Horniman Museum. While there, we had a workshop learning about explorers who discovered artefacts and how they came to be at the Horniman. It was a hands on workshop where we saw replicas and original artefacts – it was incredible to be able to hold these!
In art we have been looking at Street art and the many different styles and methods of creating it. This week we looked closely at Ben Eine and his Typographic art and practiced recreating his New Circus font using bold contrasting colours.
We’ve been working hard on an animation project throughout the term too and are excited to finish our short animations.
