What an exciting term Bronze class has had!
In Science we created potato batteries. We had hoped to use the energy generated within a potato to light up a small light bulb. We followed the instructions carefully, checked our resources and ensured that all our circuits were completed correctly – but we just couldn’t make them work! This has forced us to really think like scientists when answering the burning question: why didn’t it work?
In response to our failed attempts, we worked like scientists to create a range of circuits and have tested out various small changes and adjustments to see if we could get the experiment to work next time.
We made ourselves and our teachers so proud this week, showing such determination and resilience when sitting our SATs tests. We were well rewarded after, with a pizza and movie treat. It has been a big build up to the tests and now we are excited to focus on finishing our Primary School journey.
