Dear Parents and Carers of Copper Class and Year 6,

I hope this letter finds you well.

I am writing to inform you that Miss Horgan has unfortunately suffered quite a serious broken foot and, after consultation with her doctor, it has been determined that she will not be able to return to school before the end of this academic year.

I know that Miss Horgan is incredibly disappointed not to be able to see the end of this year out with all of the children. I have spoken to her this afternoon and she would love to arrange a zoom call nearer the end of term to say goodbye to the class.

In the meantime, we are very fortunate to have Mrs Blanks and Miss Pais covering Copper class until the end of term. Both teachers are very experienced and well-known to the children. Mrs Blanks will teach Monday to Thursday and Miss Pais will teach on the Friday.
