Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome to the new term at Kelvin Grove! We are really looking forward to welcoming your children into their new class tomorrow.

Entrance to Year 2 is through the gate on Dallas Road.  Gates open at 8:35am and children come in and line up.  Cinnamon and Saffron classes will be clearly signposted. Teachers will be there to take children inside at 8:40am for a prompt start at 8:45am. Once your child has joined their line you are welcome to leave if you wish, as a member of staff will always be on the playground after the gate is opened.

If you want to speak to your child’s class teacher, the best time will be on the playground at the end of the day. A member of SLT or a teaching assistant will be available in the mornings to pass on any messages to teachers.  The gate will open at 3pm for a dismissal at 3:15pm. However, just be mindful that over the first few days of term, teachers might take longer dismissing the children as they need to get to know everyone’s adult.

I will be on the playground most mornings and afternoons if you have any questions or need help with anything.
