Whoa! History got REAL today! To launch our new topic this term, Mr. History brought in a ton of super interesting (and kind of gruesome!) artifacts. We learned about medicine and doctors throughout history, from ancient times all the way to today. Did you know that diseases can travel through animals and even the water we drink?! We also got to see some of the tools doctors used to perform surgery back in the day—yikes! The coolest part? Mr. History showed us how to extract a marble from a “dead” body (don’t worry, it wasn’t real!). After that, we explored all sorts of activities around the hall, and even did a little dressing up!
