Dear Parents and Carers,
RE: Royal Academy of Arts Young Artists’ Summer Show 2025
This year we would like to encourage more children to get creative and submit original pieces of art to the Royal Academy’s Young Artist Summer Show 2025 competition. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to have their work showcased online and at a prestigious London gallery.
The competition is inspired by the annual RA Summer Exhibition and the Young Artists’ Summer Show offers primary and secondary level students the exciting opportunity to exhibit their artwork at the RA on site and online.
The competition is open to all children aged 4-19 and pupils can enter up to 3 artworks each. There are no restrictions on what the children can make, 2D or 3D works will be accepted and any medium is welcome. There is no theme this year. The Royal Academy only ask that works be original and do not infringe upon any copyrights. Take your time creating and have fun with it!
Prizes will be awarded for inspiring artworks from each Key Stage. There will also be a People’s Choice award, where members of the public can vote for their favourite artwork.
Submissions need to be handed in by Monday 3rd March 2025 at the latest. All artworks should be delivered to Miss Gibbs or the school office with an accompanying parental consent* form and a short description about the artwork.
For more information visit: https://youngartists.royalacademy.org.uk/
*Please note for this competition we must have signed parental consent to submit artworks by the children, any works handed in without one will not be submitted. Spare forms can be collected from the school office or downloaded here:
Good luck!
