Dear Parent/Carer,

RE: Trip to the Foreign Office for a Human Rights Day Event

On Friday 28^th February,  Year 4 and Year 5 School Council members have been invited to attend an Ambassador Day with Transport for London. 

On the day children will take part in a series of fun, interactive seminars and work alongside TfL staff at their headquarters to complete an action plan for a project which we will carry out, in school, in the summer term. 

We will be leaving at 9.00am and will walk down to Sydenham Station and get a train to Stratford. Please ensure your child arrives promptly by 8:45am. We will return back to school by 3.15pm however, the school office will inform you if there are any delays to the return journey. Please complete the reply slip below by Friday 14^th February to confirm your child can go. If you would like to order a FREE school packed please note this on the reply slip.

Alternatively, you can provide your child with a home-made healthy packed lunch which should NOT contain fizzy drinks, sweets, or NUTS (due to pupil allergies). Lunch needs to be fully disposable and in a named carrier bag.

Mrs Legouix will accompany the children on the trip.

Your child will need to wear school uniform, school shoes and a waterproof coat, as we shall be going whatever the weather.
