RE: SEND Parent Workshop – Tuesday 18^th March 2025

We are pleased to invite you to an upcoming Parent Workshop at Kelvin Grove designed to provide support and guidance for parents of children who have been diagnosed with Autism or show traits of being neurodivergent.

📅 Date: Tuesday 18th March 2025
⏰ Time: 1:00 – 3:00 PM
📍 Location: Onsite at school – please come to the main office, and you will be directed from there.

This drop-in session will be led by Kremena from Drumbeat ASD Outreach, offering a safe and supportive space to discuss and problem-solve challenges you may be facing at home and school. Topics may include:

• Managing dysregulation at home
• Supporting transitions from home to school
• Understanding rigid/literal thinking
• Coping with anxieties
• Developing self-care skills
• Exploring communication strategies
• Following a self-led agenda based on parent concerns

This is a fantastic opportunity to connect with other parents, share experiences, and receive expert advice tailored to your child’s needs.
