Dear Parents/Carers,

RE: Important Clothing Guidance for Year 4’s Trip to Creekside Discovery Centre

Ahead of this weeks trip, we have received important recommendations from Creekside Discovery Centre regarding appropriate clothing for the expected cold weather and the nature of the activities.

Children will be walking through muddy and wet areas, so it is essential they are wearing appropriate uniform and clothing.

To ensure children stay warm and comfortable throughout the day, please make sure they:

Wear:

• A vest under their T-shirt for extra warmth
• A short, warm, waterproof coat (long coats will drag and get muddy in the creek)
• A woolly hat and gloves
• Trousers (not a skirt or shorts) to keep legs warm and protected

Bring:

• Two spare pairs of socks
• A spare pair of trousers, joggers, or leggings
