Dear Parent/Carer of Reception pupil,

RE: Junk Orchestra Workshop  –  Wednesday 21sy May 2025

Reception pupils are will be starting a new topic next half term ‘We are Environmentalists.’

As part of the culmination of this topic, an exciting event has been arranged for the children.  All children in Reception will have the opportunity to work with the Junk Orchestra. We will be learning about the importance of recycling and looking after our local and global environment. The children will be able to play the instruments made using recycled materials.

The workshop will take place in the school hall so parent/carer helpers are not required for this event.

To help cover the workshop costs, we are asking for a £6 contribution per child if you are able to. Payments can be made via Scopay by Friday 10^th May.

We really appreciate your support and are sure the children will have a fantastic time.
