Dear Parents/Carers,

RE: Nethercott Farm: Monday 2^nd June – Friday 6^th June 2025

Ahead of the trip and our next parent meeting (date to be sent out before half term) we wanted to share some key details with you about the trip. Please see attached a pdf with information about the trip in June.

Packing & Pocket Money

A full packing checklist can be found below. If you wish to provide pocket money, please ensure it is handed in by Friday 23^rd May in a named envelope or wallet at the School Office.

Daily Schedule & Activities

The trip will be led by Mrs Heron-Njie, with support from other Kelvin Grove staff, who will oversee the children alongside staff from Nethercott farm. During their stay, children will be divided into three groups, each led by a member of KG staff. The daily schedule includes farm duties in the morning, throughout the day, and in the early evening. There will also be time for leisure, sporting, and academic activities.

Communication & Updates

We understand that parents/carers will be eager for updates. A daily update will be sent via text or email, similar to previous trips (see an example here). These updates will typically arrive in the late afternoon, depending on when staff can send them to the School Office.

At the end of the trip, we will share a private album containing all photos taken. Due to WiFi and signal limitations at the farm, we will not be able to provide a live album during the trip.
