Dear Parents/Carers
RE: Cobalt Class trip to Devonshire Road Nature Reserve
As part of our next science topic, Classification and Changing Habitats, Cobalt Class will be going to Devonshire Road Nature Reserve on Thursday 19th June 2025. Whilst there, children will explore the nature reserve and participate in a number of different activities.
We will be walking to and from the nature reserve, which takes approximately thirty minutes each way. Children will need to wear school uniform but may wear trainers. They will also need to bring a water bottle and be prepared for the weather (e.g. hat, sun cream, raincoat). We will be leaving at 9am and will eat our lunch there. We will return to school straight after lunch and have lessons at school in the afternoon as normal.
The cost for this trip is £5 per child. Please pay on SCOPAY TRIPS & EVENTS.
If you would like to pre-order a free school packed lunch for this trip, you must complete the online form below by Friday 6th June 2025. This is to ensure that the kitchen staff have sufficient time to order in the correct food. Alternatively, you can provide your child with a home-made healthy packed lunch which should NOT contain fizzy drinks, sweets, or nuts (due to pupil allergies).
We will need a few parent helpers to accompany us on the trip. If you are able to come along and help supervise a small group of children, please let me know.
Thank you for your continued support.
Miss Drewe
