RE: Summer 2 in Nursery, ‘Moving On‘
Welcome back! The children will be beginning their final term at Nursery and we plan to make this a fun and exciting one. We will be focusing on preparing the children for their transition into Reception, so that September will be as smooth as possible.
We would like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you, for all your support in helping us develop confident young explorers and learners, ready to move onto their next adventure at ‘Big School!’
Our topic this half is ‘Moving On‘
We will focus on different forms of transport through stories.
We will also be learning how to embrace change and begin preparing to move onto Reception at Kelvin Grove or a new school. Taking time to talk over what we are excited or even worried about. We will also use this term to reflect back on our wonderful time in Nursery and celebrate this together.

Summer Weather
As the weather is warming up, please ensure that your child comes to nursery with a named summer hat and sun cream on as we will continue with our outdoor play. Please ensure your child is always wearing suitable shoes for nursery i.e. trainers or shoe shoes and not unsuitable sandals in the hot weather.

- Nursery Graduation – We will be holding a Nursery Graduation before the end of term, date and details to follow later this term.
