Dear parents and carers of Year 6,

RE: Y6 End of Year Play, Shakespeare Rocks!
This year, Year 6 are thrilled to be performing their End of Year Play: Shakespeare Rocks!
To help accommodate all families, there will be two performances:
- Afternoon performance – Wednesday 16th July, 1:40pm – 3:00pm
- Evening performance – Thursday 17th July, 6:00pm – 7:00pm
At this stage, we kindly ask that each family selects just one performance date, with a maximum of two seats per booking. This helps us ensure that all parents and carers have the opportunity to attend and enjoy the show. If you would like an additional ticket please complete the form to request two and follow up with an email to the School Office and we will let you know if this can be accommodated.
Tickets can be reserved from 6.00pm this evening, please complete the online ticket request form linked here. Tickets will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, you will receive confirmation next week, and tickets will be sent home with your child or made available for collection from the School Office. We are asking for voluntary donations instead of pricing tickets, and all money raised will go towards UNICEF, a charity chosen by the Year 6 children themselves.
For the evening performance, children can either remain at school and attend Club Xtra until the performance begins, or go home as normal and return to school by 5:15pm to prepare for the 6.00pm start. We will need all parents/carers to complete the separate online form linked here to let us know your child’s plan for the evening. This form will also be used to record collection arrangements and give permission if your child is walking home after the show.
Please note that space inside the hall is limited. Where possible, we ask that buggies are either left outside the hall or folded down before entering to help keep aisles clear and maintain a safe environment for all.
The performances will be photographed by school staff so families can enjoy the show without the need to film. We kindly request that parents do not record videos during the performance. If you choose to take photos, please ensure they are only of your own child and are not shared on social media, in line with our safeguarding guidance.
Thank you for your support and understanding – we can’t wait to welcome you to the show!
If you have any questions, please speak to someone from the Year 6 team.
