Dear Parents/Carers,
RE: Reminder About Labelling Belongings
As the children settle into their new routines and begin to find their way around classrooms, and the wider school building, we are noticing the usual flurry of jumpers, coats, water bottles and bags being left behind in various corners.
To help us reunite belongings with their rightful owners quickly, we kindly ask that all items; especially school jumpers and coats, are clearly named. With the current changeable weather, children are often taking off and putting on layers throughout the day, and labelled items are far easier to return without fuss.
A simple name tag or even permanent marker on the inside of clothing and personal items makes all the difference. It saves time for staff, avoids disappointment for children, and ensures that fewer belongings end up in lost property.
Thank you for your support with this small but very helpful step.
Yours sincerely,
Kris Clark
