Dear Parents/Carers of Year 5 Pupils,

RE: Year 5 Nethercott Farm Residential Trip –  February 2026

We are delighted to offer Year 5 pupils the opportunity to take part in our annual residential trip to Nethercott Farm.

The trip will be led by Mrs Heron-Njie, supported by other Kelvin Grove staff, alongside experienced staff from Nethercott farm. During their stay, children be accommodated in a lovely manor house and will experience life on the farm, taking part in a range of activities and farm chores in the morning, throughout the day, and in the early evening. There will also be time for leisure, sporting, and academic activities during their stay. You can view highlights from previous Nethercott trips here.

Parent Meeting:
Mrs Heron-Njie will be holding a parent meeting on Friday 26^th September 2025 at 9:00 am in school to provide full details about the trip, including activities, expectations, and payment arrangements, and to answer any questions you may have.

Trip Details:
Date: Monday 9^th February to Friday 13^th February 2026
Cost: The full cost for this trip is £370 per child (£190 for Pupil Premium). Full payment will need to be made before 31^st January 2026.

The trip will be available to book via SCOPAY from Friday 26^th September 4.30pm, with a £50 non-refundable deposit required to secure your child’s place. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis once deposits are paid.
