Dear Parents/Carers of Year 6 Pupils,
RE: Interest Form, Year 6 France Residential Trip – July 2026
We are pleased to share details of the Year 6 residential trip planned for next year. The trip is organised with Travelbound, who specialise in school journeys abroad, and pupils will be accompanied by Kelvin Grove staff.
Children will spend four nights at the beautiful Château du Molay in Normandy, enjoying onsite activities and evening entertainment, including Karaoke and a disco. Each day they will head out on day trips, from historic battle sites and memorials that deepen their understanding of the Second World War, to cultural highlights such as Mont Saint Michel, Alligator Bay, and a caramel factory visit (with tasting included!). They will also shop at a traditional French market to buy ingredients for lunch, giving them the chance to practise their spoken French and use foreign currency in real-life situations. Trip Details
Dates: Monday 6th – Friday 10th July 2026 inclusive (5 days; 4 nights)
Cost: £575 per pupil
We would love as many children as possible to join this trip. If you are facing any financial hardship, please speak to Mr Clark or Mr Hyde to discuss possible options.
Please complete the online form below to express your interest by Wednesday 1st October. (Completing this form does NOT secure a space for your child). We will then arrange a parent meeting to share more details, confirm payment information, provide key dates, and answer questions. We also will confirm your place when inviting you to our first meeting.
