Dear Parents/Carers of Reception Pupils,

RE: Tapestry Access

This week an activation email for Tapestry should have been sent to the primary email address you provided to the school. Please check your inbox (and junk mail), and look for an email from ‘Tapestry’ rather than Kelvin Grove.

Follow the link and instructions in the email to set up your account. If you experience any issues, please see the Tapestry user guides linked here.

• If you have previously had a Tapestry account, you will need to use your existing login details (you may need to reset your password).
• If you have not received an activation email, please speak with your child’s class teacher.

At first you will not be linked to your child, but by Monday 22^nd September everyone should be connected to their child’s account. Please be patient while we set up all accounts and ensure the app runs smoothly.

For easier access, you can download the Tapestry app. Through Tapestry you will be able to view photos, videos, and updates about your child’s learning in school. It is a wonderful tool that helps us share your child’s experiences and development with you.

As well as viewing and commenting on our posts, you will also be able to upload your own photos and videos; perhaps of special home learning, an achievement, or something fun your child has done at the weekend.

Over the coming weeks, the children will be talking about special people in their family. We would love it if you could upload a family photo to Tapestry for your child to share during lesson time.
