RE: Parent Workshop Invitation

We are inviting you to a workshop on Friday 17^th October at 9:00am.

How do Mobile Phones Affect the Mental Health of Young People? And Meet the Lewisham Mental Health Support Team.

• When is the right time to give my child a mobile phone?
• What are the effects of social media on children’s mental health?
• What is the Mental Health Support Team? What can they offer me?
• How can I spot worry and anxiety in my child?

At Kelvin Grove, we are committed to supporting the wellbeing of all our pupils and their families. As part of this commitment, we work closely with the Lewisham Mental Health Support Team (MHST), a trusted service that works with schools across the borough.

Throughout the year, the team will be running targeted interventions with pupils, parent workshops and coffee mornings here at school. These sessions provide practical advice and a chance to connect with professionals who specialise in supporting children’s mental wellbeing.
