Dear Reception Parents and Carers,

RE: Key Dates for Winter Events

As we approach the festive season, we are pleased to share our upcoming Winter Events for parents and children. We hope you will be able to join us in celebrating the children’s learning and the wonderful community spirit at Kelvin Grove.

Here are the winter events taking place for Reception this term:

Reception Events

• Winter Event: Thursday 11^th December, 2:15pm – 3:00pm. Parents and carers are invited to our winter celebration in Reception classrooms. We will be singing, making and enjoying some snacks together.
  
  
• Class Party: All Reception classes on Thursday 18^th December, children can wear party clothes or festive jumpers. Snacks and party food are welcome, but they must be nut-free (e.g., no Nutella or Kinder Bueno hazelnut).

Whole-School Dates

• School Winter Fair: Friday 5^th December, 3:15pm – 5:00pm
  
• Official Christmas Jumper Day: Thursday 11^th December, children are invited to wear Christmas or festive jumpers in support of Save the Children’s Official Christmas Jumper Day.

• KG Christmas Dinner & Jumper Day: Wednesday 17^th December, if your child is normally packed lunch and you would like to book a Christmas dinner, please let the office know as soon as possible. Children are invited to wear Christmas or festive jumpers in school on this day.

Some children who access their learning in the Resource Base/Hub Class may take part in different ways or may not join the main school performance. Your child’s teacher will discuss the most appropriate option with you if this applies to your child.
