Dear Year 4 Parents and Carers,

RE: Key Dates for Winter Events

As we approach the festive season, we are pleased to share our upcoming Winter Events for parents and children. We hope you will be able to join us in celebrating the children’s learning and the wonderful community spirit at Kelvin Grove.

Here are the winter events taking place for Year 4 this term:

Year 4 Events

• Stay and Share Afternoon: Thursday 4^th December, 2:15pm – 3:00pm. Parents and carers are invited to join us in class to share in their children’s learning from the term and create a winter craft.
  
  
• Year 3 and Year 4 Winter Show: Tuesday 9^th December, 2:30pm – 3:00pm in the Main Hall. Parents and carers are invited to attend.
  
  
• Class Party: All Year 4 classes including Green Class will have their party on Thursday 18^th December, children can wear their own clothes or festive jumpers. Snacks and party food are welcome, but they must be nut-free (e.g., no Nutella or Kinder Bueno hazelnut) and small items are preferred.
  
  Blue Class will have their party on Wednesday 17^th December, children can wear party clothes or festive jumpers. Snacks and party food are welcome, but they must be nut-free (e.g., no Nutella or Kinder Bueno hazelnut).

Whole-School Dates

• School Winter Fair: Friday 5^th December, 3:15pm – 5:00pm
  
  
• Official Christmas Jumper Day: Thursday 11^th December, children are invited to wear Christmas or festive jumpers in support of Save the Children’s Official Christmas Jumper Day.

• KG Christmas Dinner & Jumper Day: Wednesday 17^th December, if your child is normally packed lunch and you would like to book a Christmas dinner, please let the office know as soon as possible. Children are invited to wear Christmas or festive jumpers in school on this day.

Children who access their learning in Green Class or Blue Class may take part in the main school performance, however the Hub Class Teacher will speak with you if they feel this is not appropriate for them.
