Dear Year 6 Parents and Carers,

RE: Key Dates for Winter Events

As we approach the festive season, we are pleased to share our upcoming Winter Events for parents and children. We hope you will be able to join us in celebrating the children’s learning and the wonderful community spirit at Kelvin Grove,

Here are the winter events taking place for Year 6 this term:

Year 6 Events

• Winter Stay and Share Afternoon: Friday 12^th December, 2:00pm – 3:00pm. Parents and carers are invited to join us in our classrooms and the hall to share in their children’s learning from the term, see the children perform some winter poems and festive songs. See the separate letter here.
  
  
• Class Party: All classes on Thursday 18^th December, children can wear their own clothes. Snacks and party food are welcome, but they must be nut-free (e.g., no Nutella or Kinder Bueno hazelnut).

Whole-School Dates

• School Winter Fair: Friday 5^th December, 3:15pm – 5:00pm
  
• Official Christmas Jumper Day: Thursday 11^th December, children are invited to wear Christmas or festive jumpers in support of Save the Children’s Official Christmas Jumper Day.

• KG Christmas Dinner & Jumper Day: Wednesday 17^th December, if your child is normally packed lunch and you would like to book a Christmas dinner, please let the office know as soon as possible. Children are invited to wear Christmas or festive jumpers in school on this day.
