Something delicious has been cooking in Year 1 this week! 🧁 We swapped our pencils for mixing spoons and put our culinary skills to the test.
The children were fantastic at following a recipe to make some yummy cakes and simple bakes. It was a great opportunity to practise our maths skills by carefully weighing and measuring out our ingredients.
To top off such a sweet week, we even had a party atmosphere this afternoon! We all enjoyed a slice of special cake to celebrate a class birthday. It was the perfect end to a busy week. 🎂
