Dear Parent(s) and Carer(s) of Year 5,

RE: Year 5 Morning Cream Tea with Parents, 11:15am on Friday 13^th February 2026

Next week, the children not going on the residential trip will be planning, cooking and preparing a cream tea. In order for us to do this successfully, we need your support in 2 ways:

1. We will have capacity to invite one adult per child to our cream tea morning on Friday 13^thFebruary between 11.15am and 12.10pm. If you are able to come during this time, please confirm as soon as possible by completing the online form below. This should be completed by Thursday 12^th February.
2. Children will be handling and taste testing the following foods. If you see any they should avoid, please let us know by e-mailing the school office as soon as possible. Children who are vegetarian, gluten free, milk free will not be asked to test any items containing these products but you are welcome to provide alternatives, should you choose.

• Breads: focaccia, pitta, gluten free, wholemeal, sourdough, white flour wraps.
• Fillings: carrot, cucumber, cream cheese, vegan cream cheese, tuna, mayonnaise, vegan mayonnaise, onion chutney, cheese, vegan cheese.
• Other items: scones (white flour), jam, clotted cream.
