Year 6 are making the most of their final weeks at primary school. This week, we began planning and designing our Yearbook, reflecting on the many happy memories we have made during our time at KG. We have also been showcasing our artistic talents by creating front cover designs. We can’t wait to see which design is chosen for the final edition!
Alongside this, we have been learning about climate change and creating informative posters to raise awareness. The children shared thoughtful ideas about how we, as a community, can work together to make a positive difference, from reducing waste and recycling more to choosing greener ways to travel.
Did you know? Trees help fight climate change by absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. A single mature tree can absorb around 22kg of carbon dioxide each year!
