Dear Parents and Carers,
RE: Toys and personal items in school
We would like to remind all families that children should not be bringing toys or personal items from home into school.
Children only need to bring the following items each day:
- A water bottle
- Their reading book
- Their reading record
- A packed lunch (if they do not have school dinners)
Recently, we have noticed an increasing number of toys, keyrings, jewellery and fidget toys being brought into school. Unfortunately, these items are causing arguments and disagreements in the playground, as well as becoming a distraction during lessons.
In addition, we cannot guarantee the safety of personal belongings brought from home. Items may become lost, damaged or broken, and the school is unable to take responsibility for them.
We would be grateful for your support in ensuring that children only bring the essential items listed above to school each day.
Thank you for your cooperation and continued support.
Kind regards,
The Year 3 Team
