Dear Reception Parents and Carers,

RE: Rescheduling Reception Sports Day

Following this morning’s warm weather and having carefully considered how the heat affected our Reception children, we have decided that it would not be in their best interests to take part in Sports Day on Thursday morning.

The health, safety and wellbeing of the children must come first, and we do not feel they would cope comfortably in the forecast conditions.

We will keep you updated regarding arrangements to reschedule the event for a cooler day, potentially next week, and will share further details as soon as possible.
