Dear Parents/Carers,

RE: School Open as Usual During Warm Weather

We would like to confirm that school remains open as usual, including ClubXtra. However, due to the forecast high temperatures, all extra-curricular clubs will be cancelled from Wednesday 24^th June to Friday 26^th June inclusive.

We are aware that the current warm weather may be causing some concern for families. While we have measures in place to help keep children comfortable and safe throughout the school day, we understand that some parents may feel it is in their child’s best interests to remain at home during this period, or collect them early from school.

Therefore, if you choose to keep your child at home because of the warm weather, their absence will be authorised until the end of this week. We would appreciate parents informing the school in the usual way if their child will not be attending.

For those pupils attending school, please ensure they come with a refillable water bottle, wear appropriate clothing, and have sun protection as needed.
