Dear Parents/Carers,

RE: Resource Base and Hub Classes 26-27

As we come to the end of another successful school year, we would like to thank you for your continued support and partnership. We hope you and your family have a wonderful summer break.

To support our ongoing commitment to developing our SEND provision, there will be a few changes within the Resource Base and Hub classes from September. Some of our classes will be moving into different rooms to make the best use of our learning spaces and to continue providing an environment that supports our children’s needs.

As part of this refresh, our Resource Base & Hub classes are also being renamed after different trees. Just as every tree is unique and grows in its own way, we recognise that every child develops at their own pace. We hope our new class names celebrate individuality, growth and the nurturing environment in which our children can put down strong roots, flourish and achieve their full potential.

To help make the transition as smooth as possible, your child will spend the morning session with their new teacher on Monday 13th July. This will give them the opportunity to meet the adults who will be supporting them, become familiar with their new classroom and begin to build relationships ahead of September. As always, our experienced team of support staff will continue to work across the Resource Base and Hub Classes to ensure every child receives the support they need.

At the end of term, your child will also receive a transition booklet to take home. We encourage you to read through this together over the summer to help prepare them for the new school year.

A reminder that the school day in September starts at 8:45am – the gates open at 8:35am School finishes at 3.15pm.  The table below shows you where you will need to go to drop off and collect your child.
