Secondary Transfer Meeting – Thursday 10th September 2026
As mentioned in the Year 6 Curriculum letter, we would like to remind all Year 6 parents and carers that our Secondary Transfer Meeting with Mr Hyde will take place this Thursday 10th September 2026 at 3:45pm in the Paxton Hall.
This will be an important opportunity to learn more about the secondary school application process and the steps involved in applying for a secondary school place for your child.
We strongly encourage all Year 6 parents and carers to attend. The meeting will provide you with an opportunity to understand the application process, ask any questions you may have and ensure that you are well prepared for the transition to secondary school.
Lewisham Transition to Secondary School Event – Monday 14th September 2026
We would also like to make you aware of a Transition to Secondary School Event being held by Lewisham on Monday 14th September 2026, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Lewisham Civic Suite.
The event is designed to support parents and carers with the secondary school application process. There will be three talks focusing on the application process, and all Lewisham secondary schools will be in attendance. There will also be representatives from teams and services including Free School Meals, SEND and school uniform providers.
This is a valuable opportunity to find out more about the secondary schools available and get advice and support with the application process.

We also recommend that parents and carers begin looking at secondary school open days and visiting schools where possible.
