Dear Parents/Carers,

RE: KG Community Garden – Volunteers needed!

We need your help.

Kelvin Grove Primary School were successful in the Tesco Grants Programme to refresh the KG Community Garden. The KG Community Garden is a valued space with great potential. Creating 12 raised beds will help every child take part, making the garden accessible and inviting for all. We won £1,500 towards the work and will have to complete the project by the end of March 2027.

We would like to invite you to be involved.
To make this a success, we need a range of skills and eager hands.

• Do you have spare time and can volunteer to come and help?
• Do you a labourer, carpenter or DIYer and have access to tools that we can borrow?

We will be completing the ground work across weekends from November to March 2027.

The first dates will be:

• Saturday 7th November – 10.00am – 3.00pm
• Saturday 28th November – 10.00am – 3.00pm

Times are approximate. You don’t need to attend for all of the time, just dropping in for an hour would help. Children are welcome, however they must be supervised by an adult at all times. Light refreshments will be available.
