Dear Parents and Carers,
Re: New PTA at Kelvin Grove
We are looking to form a new PTA for Kelvin Grove.
The role of the PTA is to fundraise and create a sense of community within the school – think Quiz nights, uniform swaps, cake sales and, of course, Summer & Christmas Fairs! We need a strong, committed and creative team of people to help us get the PTA back into the brilliant shape it was pre-COVID. Initially we are looking to fill the 3 key roles of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer.
Once these roles are filled it will be the responsibility of this committee to grow the membership and get others involved. It is most definitely not an exclusive club and we appreciate that we have many parents who want to help the school, yet can’t commit to a specific role. So the PTA is for all of our parents who want to help, led by the core team mentioned above.

And don’t worry, we aren’t expecting anyone to organise a big Christmas Fair this year! It would be lovely to have some kind of Christmas event (COVID permitting), but probably something more manageable than a fair.
And we won’t throw you in the deep end. We have a wonderful group of parents who have previously held these roles, and are more than happy to help, advise and share their knowledge.
Please complete the form below if you are interested in becoming either the chair, secretary or treasurer. If there are multiple nominations, the committee can look at role shares or a vote. Please submit your nomination by Friday 5th November.
